Job description

Specialty: Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
Start Date: As soon as credentialed (45-90 days)
Contract Length: Preferred 6 months

Shift Details:

Preferred Shifts: 3 x 12-hour shifts or 4 x 10-hour shifts
Schedule: 3-4 shifts per week
No Call
Work Details:

Support Staff: MDs and other CRNAs
Coverage Needed: Full-time, 3-4 shifts per week
Cases per Day: Approximately 100
Patient Population/Age: 12 years and up
Department Description: Level 1 trauma center with a burn unit, 30 ORs
EMR: EPIC
Hospital Bed Size: 837
Types of Cases: General (bread and butter), trauma, endoscopy (No OB, Peds, or Cardiac)
Practice Setting:

Type: Academic/Training Hospital
Requirements:

Board Certification: Required
License: Willing to wait for a license
DEA: Not required
Certifications Required: ACLS & BLS, Covid and Flu vaccines required
Orientation and Clinical Competency Evaluation: Required (typically a couple of days)
Minimum Experience: Prefer 2 years
Credentialing Timeframe: 45-90 days (No temporary or emergency privileges available
