Position Highlights:

Contract Length: 6-month assignment with the potential for extension.
Flexible Shift Options: Choose from 7a-7p or 7p-7a shifts, with no night call required. Balance your work and personal life with ease!
Facility Volume: Work in a busy emergency department with an annual volume of 22,000 patient visits.
Comprehensive Backup: Access support from Surgery, Oncology, ICU/CCU, Geriatrics, and Behavioral Science, ensuring holistic patient care.
Special Procedures: Engage in moderate sedation and the diagnostic and treatment of ischemic strokes, broadening your clinical expertise.

Requirements:

Board Certification: BC/BE in Emergency Medicine, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine. If FP/IM, a minimum of 300 hours in the ED over the past 2 years is required.
Active WV License: Must hold an active West Virginia medical license.
DEA Registration: Required with WV address.
Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and NIHSS are mandatory.
