Practice Setting: Inpatient Oncology Unit Dates of Coverage: ASAP-6 months with opportunity to extend Shift(s) Description: Mon-Fri Consult Coverage 8:00AM-4:30PM with rotating weekends Call Schedule: overnight telephonic call (rotating) Call Ratio: approx 1:8 Patient Population for Required Coverage: Adult, Geriatric What Percentage of the Practice is Hematology %, Oncology %, Internal Medicine %?: Hem--60%, Onc--40% & IM--0% Number of Physicians in Practice: 7 Will There be Radiation Oncologists Present During Locum Tenens Coverage? yes How Many APPs Provide Coverage: 1 dedicated for inpt coverage: 11 total---some round on the weekends Average Number of Patients Per Day - HOSPITAL (Call/Rounding) :variable-----approx 5-20 Clinical Area: Oncology - Inpatient Setting, Hematology - Inpatient Setting Trauma Level/Designation (Hospital): Level one Documentation System/EMR: Epic Administration of Chemotherapy: Nurse oncologist Required Procedures: Chemotherapy - Intrathecal Required Duties: Participation on a Tumor Board Orders Tests Orders Images Prescribes Compensation: Competitive weekly pay and malpractice included.
