Job Summary Full-time, fully remote position (Mon Fri, 8am 5pm, no call). Role includes supporting behavioral health care for patients of all ages in both inpatient (20%) and outpatient (80%) settings. Work with a high-volume service (150 consults per week) alongside 2 physicians and 10 APPs. Responsibilities Review cases, guide treatment plans, recommend medications, and assist with referrals. Respond to clinician questions, provide coverage when needed, and train primary care teams on behavioral health topics. Support multiple care sites, including EDs, inpatient units, urgent care, on-demand virtual care, and ambulatory clinics. Conduct crisis assessments for issues such as suicidal/homicidal ideation, suicide attempts, psychosis, and substance use. Manage caseload, supervise clinical work of non-provider staff, and serve as collaborating physician for psychiatric APPs. Qualifications MD/DO (or foreign equivalent). Board-certified Psychiatrist. Active Indiana medical license. Comfortable working with a collaborative team of APPs, social workers, counselors, nurses, and support staff.
